Transformations is a 3 phase program using several different curriculums including Getting Ahead in a Just Getting By World, Jobs for Life, and financial management curriculums made available by the FDIC. This class is geared toward showing its participants the way out of poverty and into self-sufficient living!
Topics covered include discussion on poverty, goal setting, idea sharing about community/neighborhood improvement, resume building, job interview skills, smart borrowing, budgeting, and saving. Class will meet for 2 hours a week for about 8-10 months. Dinner will be provided for all attendees. Incentives are given throughout the program. Those who complete the class will be honored with a graduation ceremony!
People who are interested in participating should fill out an application and call 229-234-7427 to schedule an interview. Interviews will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2017 between the hours of 5:30-7:30 pm. Class will begin Sunday, April 30, 2016
